Wow he sure knows how to bellyache. That guy went on for 45 minutes and I was listening for what he though or proposed and all I heard was liberals are stupid, here’s what’s wrong with liberals, he seems rather obsessed. At one point near the end I got that he believes free-markets take care of everything and are not zero sum. I would have liked to have heard him elaborate more on how that will take care of issues. I thought the stuff about liberals wanting the government to love them like a Mommy or a Daddy was just weird. Personally I like to think of a good role for government as a referee in a football game. Let the markets operate and business compete and do their thing. Markets are undeniably good at taking care of allocation, innovation etc. But we the people need someone to call foul on our behalf when they do things that may be great for their bottom line but harmful to us.
